Main Policies

Playaway and Stayaway seek to provide a safe, productive, respectful and enjoyable environment for both staff, attendees and parents. We require all staff to read and understand our key policies before each programme and will be required to sign to confirm compliance. We have captured the key elements of our main policies in a Staff Handbook which must be read by all staff and is linked here. There are links to other policies within the staff Handbook which staff should familiarise themselves with - in particular the Safeguarding and Intimate Care policies. We are keen to find the right balance with our policies given that we only provide 3 weeks of programme a year and any comments or obeservations from staff would be gladly received.

Risk Assessments

All aspects of the Programme will be covered by an appropriate Risk Assessment. The Risk Assessments are designed to also provide guidance on the processes to be adopted and therefore are an important tool for all staff to follow. All staff must familiarise themselves with and use the Risk Assessments.
