The Value of your Support
Many parents struggle to meet the financial commitment that bringing up a disabled child entails and it is therefore important that we keep the programmes affordable. The majority of our fundraising target is met through really generous support from a number of charities and Trusts.
How can you support
We need to raise £35 000 each year which equates to £450 per child. In addition we do insist however that all parents make a financial contribution equivalent to 33% of the cost (£250 per week – a bit more for the residential programme). The full costs of the programme are set out below.
Anticipated Cost Breakdown
The anticipated costs for 2017 are set out in the Table below based on 2016 expenditure but with some anticipated growth in facilities and staff costs. We have for the last 3 years held staff costs at the 2012 level however we do anticipate a small increase in 2017. We use the facilities at PACE special school to deliver the non-residential programmes and hire facilities and accommodation at Green Park near Aston Clinton for the Residential programme - they also help staff the various activities. All parents are required to pay a parental contribution which equates to c35% of the cost of delivering the programme. All Trustees are volunteers and thus administration costs are exceptionally low with the main cost being Insurance.
